Andy The-Anh loves women. He didn't have to say it but he showed the love in his spring collection for 2008. The opening of the show was heavenly; faintly lit the model stood angelic in a beautiful white dress surrounded by clouds (thanks to a smoke machine). Andy is known for his gorgeous dresses and structured skirt and pant suits with ultra-feminine details. I loved the colour palette of pale turquoise, chocolate, bronze, gunmetal grays, creams, and whites. The added detailing of ruffles and bows on the dresses were my favourite and made each piece interesting and unique. The dresses were luxe and glamourous ranging in chiffon flowy dresses to satiny finishes. I absolutely loved the angelic effect of the makeup and hair. Their wavy long tresses looked amazing as they floated down the runway. It was all about movement and soft healthy hair. I loved the halo of white around the eyes and the white feathery lashes. The model's skin looked luminous with a hint of soft pink blush and pink glossy lips. The look was feminine and delicate yet strong and sophisticated. The show ended with all models walking the runway in the same dress and over-sized reflective sunglasses. They looked uber cool and kept me wanting more.
