I've always been a huge fan of Lucy Liu's as an actress and as a fashionista. Her mix of delicate features and her ability to kick butt in movies makes for an A-lister in my books. I'm loving her new role in Cashmere Mafia as power media exec Mia Mason. Will this new show live up to Sex and The City? Who knows and who cares! It's been satisfying my need for fashionably dressed women, living out their successful careers while juggling love, sex, friends, and family.
Looking pretty in pink is an understatement. I think Lucy's makeup is the perfect compliment to her striking raspberry-pink Alexander McQueen number. To recreate this look:
1. Even out your complexion with Smashbox's High Definition Healthy FX Foundation SPF 15 for flawless and luminous skin.
2. Dust a neutral shimmery shadow all over the lids like Smashbox's new Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Star Burst. What I like this about this look is that Lucy isn't pairing her fuchsia dress with fuchsia lips or fuchsia cheeks! :D
PS, I love Cashmere Mafia so far. But I think it's gonna be cancelled soon.
