Beauty Fix Weekend Reads: The Beauty Blog Network

I am baking up a storm and I haven't done this since high school. My husband thanked my son for turning 2 today lol. When I think back on the first day he was born, I was in such a different place. Scared, excited, scared and definitely not a homemaker! I was an urban mom living downtown and here I am two years later living in a house in the suburbs cooking and baking! Ahhh! My son turning 1 was definitely special but there's just something about turning 2 that makes it even more special. He's this little person, talking, laughing, making jokes, dancing, and saying "no" a little more than I'd like to hear. We turned his crib into a "big boy" bed today; I was nearly close to tears! Sigh. lol Tomorrow we take the boy to the water festival down by the lake to meet Max and Ruby and Dora. After, is his basketball themed birthday bash! Then Sunday is Father's Day! Busy weekend!
