Seal it with a kiss this Valentine's Day with lip products that are all-natural and paraben-free! Did you know we ingest between 4-7 lbs of lip products over a lifetime? Pretty disturbing when you think about how much toxic chemicals we've eaten prior to the boom of all-natural products!
Each day until the February 14th, Makeup Junkie will feature sweet lippies that will not only make your lips look fabulous but are also good for you and the environment.
Sara Happ the lip scrub in Brown Sugar ($24 USD): Kissable lips always begin with good prepping. For super smooth and flake-free lips, exfoliate prior to applying any lip product. Lipsticks and glosses will only enhance dry chapped skin.
When you try "the lip scrub" you'll be wondering what you ever did without this product. Happ realized there had to be a better way to exfoliate your lips than using a wash cloth - we women deserve better than that right? Instead of scouring beauty counters for a lip scrub she decided to whip one up right out of her own kitchen. And just like that, a cult product was born!
I received "the lip scrub" in "Brown Sugar" and it smells as good as it tastes! This edible blend of sugar, natural extracts and essential oils eliminate dry, flaky skin leaving lips deliciously smooth and soft. It really is a spa treatment for your lips - simply massage a tiny amount into your lips and wipe off with a tissue (or in my case lick off).
Other scrumptious flavours: Almond Creme, Peppermint, Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon Sugar, Cocoa and limited edition Creme Brulee!
What's to love even more? The adorable gift box it comes in!

@lelo - lol that's exactly what I used to do but using the scrub feels and taste so much better :)
Mmm sounds good! Can't wait to read the rest of the series. :)
@Arianne - thanks! I'm sure there will be a few from the list that you'll want :)
Hi! Just a quick question, is there anywhere to buy this in Toronto?
I believe in Toronto it is only sold at Blossom Lounge in Toronto and Unionville...definitely should call ahead of time if you're planning to pick it up just in case it is not available...
Was all excited about this and went in search only to find it is NOT all natural and good for you. After sugar, the highest ingredient is petrolatum - that's Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline). Gross! Who wants to be licking petroleum byproducts or chance swallowing something so nasty?
